Saba hosts Cinéma Vérité Festival’s programs

TEHRAN -- Saba Art and Culture Institute will play host to the Cinéma Vérité Festival’s meeting and film marketing sessions until October 19.
The second international film marketing sessions are being held in Ayeneh Gallery of the institute.
The cinematheque of the institute is hosting the meetings to be held by world documentary filmmakers concurrently with the festival.
The festival is currently underway at Tehran’s Felestine and Qiam cinemas and also at the University of Art’s Farabi Hall and will continue until October 19.
Margarita Festival spotlights Iran cinema
TEHRAN -- The first edition of the Margarita National Film Festival has a section dedicated to Iranian Cinema.
The festival which is currently underway in Venezuela, will screen several Iranian films including Khosro Sinaii’s “Like a Tale”, Ahmadreza Mo’tamedi’s “The Rule of the Game”, Puran Derakhshandej’s “Eternal Kids” and Rasul Mollaqolipur’s “M for Mother.”
Puran Derakhshandeh is a jury member of the festival in the Feature Films Section.
The festival runs until Wednesday.
University of Tehran to host German musicians’ concerts
TEHRAN -- The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran will host joint concerts with German musicians on October 27 and 28.
Pieces composed by Burkhard Friedrich, Marco Siciliani, felix kubin, Sascha Demand and Iranian composer Alireza Mashayekhi will be performed during the concerts..
